Our Model 42 Utility Pump can be used to remove unwanted water from any surface where it may collect. This nonautomatic pump is designed to be a used as a portable pump for temporary use in dewatering applications. The most common uses for the Model 42 include removing water from swimming pools, hot tubs, pool covers, basements, crawl spaces, water troughs, rain barrels, and more.
The Model 42 is a submersible pump that will pump the water level down to within 1/8″ (3 mm) of a flat surface. That is why it is known as the “Floor Sucker.”
For added convenience, the Model 42 is equipped with three discharge options. It comes with a garden hose adapter, a 1″ NPT connection, or a 1-1/4″ slip fit. The screened bottom intake prevents solids from entering the pump and creating problems.
Because the Model 42 is so small and lightweight, it is an ideal tool to keep on the garage shelf. You never know when you might need to get rid of a bit of unwanted water.
