Our Model 915 is a preassembled grinder pump package that comes with all of the key components required for installation. It is ideal for those looking to install a job ready sewage ejector system. Purchasing a job ready package reduces installation errors while minimizing cost.
The Model 915 grinder pump package is designed for burial flush-to-grade. The access cover is the only part that is visible after installation.
The package comes preassembled in an 24″ x 24″ polyethylene structural foam (PSF) basin. It includes our Model 807 automatic grinder pump. The Model 807 is a 1 HP grinder pump. The grinder pump reduces solids to an 1/8″ or less as they pass through the cutter and cutter plate. This allows for the use of a smaller line size during installation. This is often necessary in areas with shallow bedrock or hilly terrain.
The basin comes complete with an 1-1/4″ PVC discharge pipe that includes a predrilled 3/16″ weep hole to prevent the pump from becoming airlocked. The basin’s cover includes a cord seal for the pump’s electrical cord along with a predrilled 2″ vent hole. Additionally, the cover includes a twist-to-lock observation port for inspections and float access. The basin also ships with a clear construction cover to protect the basin lid while doing finish work around the basin cover. The cover is sealed in place prior to shipment. The pre-plumbed 4″ inlet hub makes for a quick connection to the main sewage line.
Each basin is filled with environmentally friendly packing peanuts prior to shipment to ensure things remain in place during transit. The packing material is water soluble, so it will disappear on the first use.
